If you have had other grill pans, you know there is no way to clean off the brown discoloration once you use the item. DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT. I just LIGHTLY use a brillo pad to remove any larger pieces of charred food, and I throw it in my dishwasher to sterilize. It won't look "clean" or new, but it's a great grill pan. You don't have to worry about teflon flaking off at high heat into your foods, and I love the size and the raised edges to keep food from sliding into the grate below when I grill.

Few words: simply a must if you want to cook vegetables and fish in a simple and clean way. Fits perfectly on my Weber Q300. You must wear gloves to manipulate when hot.

Have used many types of grill pans in the past, this 6435 is the best. Durable, easy to clean great for grilling mixed vegetables and fish due to narrow slits.

I have used this pan 3-4 times since it arrived. I have only used this pan to fry bacon but it does a great job and will hold between 10-11 slices. I like this product.
